Cursor is an AI-powered code editor.

⚠️ Note: Cursor’s core features (Composer, Cmd+K) use a private protocol and cannot be replaced. This guide covers chat model replacement only.

Steps

1. Open Cursor, press Cmd/Ctrl + Shift + J for settings
2. Go to Models page
3. Scroll to OpenAI API Key section
4. Configure:

Field	Value
OpenAI API Key	sk-xxxxx
Override OpenAI Base URL	https://hubwave.ai/v1

5. Click Verify

Add Custom Models

Top of Models list → Add model → Enter model name (e.g. claude-3-5-sonnet-20241022).

Then disable official models and enable only your custom ones.
