Cherry Studio

Cherry Studio is an open-source cross-platform desktop AI client.

Step 1: Download

Get the version for your OS from cherry-ai.com.

Step 2: Add Provider

1. Open Cherry Studio → Settings
2. Under Model Services, select OpenAI (or add custom provider)
3. Fill in:

4. Click Check to verify

Step 3: Add Models

Click + Add under the provider, enter model names (e.g. gpt-4o, claude-3-5-sonnet-20241022).

Step 4: Start Chatting

Switch to the model in the top-left dropdown and start chatting.

FAQ

Q: Connection failed? A: Make sure API Host does NOT end with /v1.

Q: Empty model list? A: Manually add models or enable “Auto fetch model list”.
